Parker Symphony Orchestra: America the Beautiful

The Parker Symphony Orchestra returns to the PACE Center for its 32nd season on October 10, 2025.

Happy 250th Birthday, USA! Celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a symphonic journey that captures the heart and soul of the nation. In its 32nd season, the Parker Symphony Orchestra welcomes you to a series of exhilarating concert experiences that showcase American music through the works of its greatest composers.

The first in this season’s PSO concert series features American composers whose works take us on a musical exploration through some of our nation’s greatest scenic wonders, from the rugged forests of the Appalachians to the awe-inspiring vastness of the Grand Canyon, and beyond.

Parker Symphony Orchestra: America the Beautiful

  • Ward/Reed – America the Beautiful
  • Eric Ewazen – Cascadian Concerto (Woodwind Quintet/Orchestra)
  • George Walker – Lyric for Strings
  • Ferde Grofe – On the Trail from Grand Canyon Suite
  • Samuel Barber – Knoxville, Summer of 1915 (Nadya Hill, Soprano)
  • Aaron Copland – Appalachian Spring

Nadya Hill, a Colorado native and former Concertmaster of the Parker Symphony Orchestra, has been featured as a violin and vocal soloist with orchestras across the country, and is comfortable in a wide range of musical styles from classical to jazz to EDM and non-classical traditional music from around the world.

Known for her work with current composers, Nadya has premiered numerous pieces by Tom Hagerman, William Hill, and Robert Spillman, among others, and has worked as a session and recording artist for a number of bands and singer-songwriters including Moira Smiley, Calexico, Neko Case, and OPIUO. Nadya recently headlined Red Rocks and Resonate Suwannee with EDM artist OPIUO and the PlainsSong Project as both solo vocalist and concertmaster.

Nadya is the Director of Denver Violins. She and her husband, Michael Hoffman, are the proud parents of human child Roselyn and fuzzy children Sophie and Dasch.
