Lunar New Year Celebration

Celebrate The Year of the Horse! Join Parker Arts Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the PACE Center for the return of our community-favorite Lunar New Year Celebration.

This vibrant cultural celebration will feature traditional performances, martial arts, hands-on activities, and more, bringing the community together to celebrate the Year of the Horse. Attendees can enjoy mini classes, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities that highlight the rich traditions and customs of the Lunar New Year.

As always, this event is free and open to the public. Due to the popularity of our last event and projected attendance numbers, we kindly ask that you register for one of three ticketing times:

1) 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.

2) 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

3) 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

• 9:00 – 9:20 a.m. | Dance, Story and Tradition by Rock Canyon High School
• 9:50 – 10:10 a.m. | Traditional Dance and Instrumental Music of China by Great Wall Chinese Academy
• 10:30 – 10:50 a.m. | Kung Fu/Martial Arts Demonstration by Denver Shaolin Kungfu Taichi Institute
• 11:20 – 11:40 a.m. | Kung Fu/Martial Arts Demonstration by Denver Shaolin Kungfu Taichi Institute
• 12:00 – 12:20 p.m. | Traditional Chinese Dances by Denver Chinese School
• 12:40 – 1:00 p.m. | Vietnamese Water Puppet Show and Vietnamese Folk Dance by Global Village Academy
