Make spirits bright this holiday season with Irving Berlin’s White Christmas at The Schoolhouse, running November 27 through December 20, 2026. This heartwarming musical brings together romance, comedy, and timeless songs in a festive story filled with charm and cheer.
Following World War II, veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis find success with their popular song-and-dance act. Hoping for a little romance along the way, the pair follow two talented singing sisters to a Christmas performance at a Vermont inn, only to discover the lodge is owned by their former Army commander. Featuring a dazzling score filled with beloved Irving Berlin classics including “Blue Skies,” “I Love a Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean,” and the timeless title song, White Christmas is a heartwarming musical celebration perfect for audiences of all ages.
Paramount Pictures released the movie musical White Christmas in 1954. Directed by Michael Curtiz, the film starred Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen, and featured 17 songs by Irving Berlin. As the highest-grossing film musical of its time, White Christmas became the top box office success of 1954 and remains a beloved holiday classic.
The stage adaptation of White Christmas premiered on Broadway at the Marquis Theatre on November 4, 2008, following several successful productions across the United States. Directed by Walter Bobbie and starring Stephen Bogardus, Jeffry Denman, Kerry O’Malley, and Meredith Patterson, the production quickly became a favorite with audiences and returned to Broadway the following year with a new cast led by James Clow, Tony Yazbeck, Melissa Errico, and Mara Davi.
