Art Exhibit: Susie Hyer: In Conversation with the Land
Experience the beauty and emotion of the natural world through the eyes of Colorado artist Susie Hyer. In Conversation with the Land is a solo exhibition of representational, plein air, and abstracted landscapes that explores the dynamic relationship between realism and abstraction, using the landscape as both subject and inspiration. Through Hyer’s paintings, viewers are invited to experience nature not only as it appears, but as it feels — bridging the space between detailed observation and expressive interpretation.
Each piece in the exhibition reveals Hyer’s deep connection to place, offering a visual dialogue between artist and environment. From sweeping mountain vistas to intimate moments of light and texture, her work captures both the power and poetry of the land.
Reception: November 20, 2025 | 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Join us for a special evening as we celebrate the Susie Hyer: In Conversation with the Land exhibit. Enjoy live music by Rick Vaught, light refreshments, and an inspiring showcase of Hyer’s artwork. This event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is required to attend the reception.
