For the Drinking Fountain Designs (open to artists 17 and younger)
- The specifications for the utility box are below. Please make sure that your design is proportionate to the width (w”) and height (h”) of those dimensions.
- Artists should plan for their design to fit all four sides of the box (the top of the box will not be wrapped). Artists may design different images for each panel or create a single contiguous design that wraps the entire box. Design can be prepared as illustrations, paintings, computer-designed concepts, or photographs.
- Please understand that one or more sides of the box may not be as visible as others.
- Your final design may need to be modified slightly to accommodate vents, doors, handles, utility stickers, etc., on the box. These areas have been greyed out in the specs below.
- Keep in mind that small sections of the vinyl wrap will have to be cut or trimmed to maintain the function of the utility box or to fit edges, so aim to keep the focal point of your art away from edges and greyed out areas.
- The Parker Arts logo will be added at the bottom of at least one side of the box to designate that the art is part of the Town of Parker’s public art program.
- Your final artwork will need to be submitted at 300 dpi at a minimum.
- If selected, our design team will work with you to make any necessary adjustments to address the points listed above.
