Join music legend John McEuen and The Circle Band at the PACE Center on November 7, 2026 for an unforgettable evening celebrating the music, stories, and legacy behind Will the Circle Be Unbroken.
A founding member of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, McEuen takes audiences on a remarkable multimedia journey through the creation of the groundbreaking 1972 album that brought together generations of country, bluegrass, and folk musicians. Featuring archival photographs, rare 8mm footage, storytelling, and live performances, this special concert experience honors one of the most influential recordings in American music history.
The original Will the Circle Be Unbroken sessions united the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band with legendary artists including Earl Scruggs, Doc Watson, Maybelle Carter, Roy Acuff, Merle Travis, Vassar Clements, and more, helping bridge traditional roots music with a new generation of audiences. Recognized in the Library of Congress and the GRAMMY Hall of Fame®, the album remains a landmark achievement in American music.
Joined by fellow musicians including NGDB co-founder Les Thompson and acclaimed instrumentalist Danny Knicely, McEuen performs beloved favorites such as “Mr. Bojangles,” “Will the Circle Be Unbroken,” “House at Pooh Corner,” and more, alongside stories from decades on the road and behind-the-scenes memories from the historic recording sessions.
Filled with masterful musicianship, bluegrass energy, rich storytelling, and American music history, this is a must-see evening for music lovers of all generations.
