Class & Camp Policies

Parker Arts offers enrichment for youth and adults during fall, winter, spring and summer, including school breaks in visual arts, performing arts, technical theater, science, robotics, music, dance, culinary, creative writing, and more! Parker Arts enrichment programs take place at the PACE Center and The Schoolhouse. Follow the Parker Arts link to classes and camps to find available programs and register online. Registrations will be redirected to a shared registration system with Parks and Recreation for which you will need an account. Please make note of the class or camp location when registering.

Class and Camp Refund Policy

Cancellation, refund and transfer requests must be made seven business days prior to the scheduled start of class. There is a $5 processing fee for class cancellations and a $10 processing fee for camp cancellations. If Parker Arts must cancel a class due to insufficient registration or unforeseeable circumstances, you will be notified prior to the start of class and will receive a full refund, credit to your account or transfer to another class.

Credit to an account can be used for any cultural class or camp, as well as recreation services including memberships, pool passes, recreation admission and class registrations for any family member.

Weather Closures

Parker Arts follows inclement weather closure procedures of Douglas County Schools. If schools are closed, Parker Arts enrichment for all ages are closed for that day (morning, afternoon and evening classes are cancelled). There are no delayed-starts for Parker Arts enrichment classes or school shows. If school is not in session (i.e. school break), cancellation of classes/camps will be determined by the Education Manager by 8:00 a.m.

Closures will be posted on the Parker Arts website and the Parker Arts Weather Hotline at 303.805.3289. If permissible, make-up sessions will be scheduled for classes. Camps are not permissible for makeup days.

Refunds will not be issued for partial or full class cancellations due to weather closures.

Camps at Parker Arts

Parker Arts partners with some of the best enrichment providers in Colorado to offer a fun and enriching summer for kids. Camps offered include half-day and full-day options. Camps may also be combined to create a full day of enrichment with a supervised lunch hour available to students who are enrolled in both a morning and afternoon camp during the same week.

Weekly summer camps at Parker Arts are run by enrichment contractors. Camp curriculum and communication is provided by the enrichment contractor. Camp registration is through Parker Arts. For inquiries, please call Parker Arts Education at 303.805.3374 or visit www.ParkerArts.org/Camps.

While registering your child(ren) for camp, please complete all questions for emergency contact, authorized pick up, and medical information.

Summer Lunch Bunch (Full-day option)

For a full day of enrichment at Parker Arts, simply select and register for corresponding weekly camps in the morning (9:00am-12:00pm) and afternoon (1:00pm-4:00pm), and have your camper attend a free supervised lunch with Parker Arts education staff. Please call 303-805-3374 or email PACEedu@parkeronline.org to reserve your child a spot in Lunch Bunch for any week(s) that they are enrolled in both a Parker Arts morning camp and a Parker Arts afternoon camp.

Parker Arts Parent Handbook

Enrichment Scholarships

The Town of Parker’s Cultural Department Scholarship program was designed to help Parker families needing financial assistance to participate in the Town’s Cultural programs. Scholarships may only provide a portion and of the total fee but never the entire amount.
Application Process
• Submit completed Enrichment Scholarship Application prior to the start of the class
• Include required documentation for approval (see eligibility and required documents)
• Accepted applicants must pay at 40% of the registration fee
• The maximum scholarship value is $200 per calendar year
