What does an archaeologist do? Hint: It does NOT involve dinosaur bones. Come investigate the history of us! Meet an archaeologist, see a real artifact, and go a your very own dig. If you’re ready for it, is time to get down in the dirt.

Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Skills Learned:

Identify the difference between archaeology and paleontology
Practice using real life tools, such as trowels, dental picks, and critical thinking
Learn how artifacts go from being used to being in a museum
