Christine is honored to serve as an arts and cultural commissioner for the Town of Parker.  She’s a proud Colorado native with a BA in Interior Design from Colorado State University. Christine’s worked in the field of design, planning, and construction for both commercial and healthcare facilities which includes focus on the built environment in feasibility, development, space planning, and project management. She enjoys the collaboration of ideas and seeing those concepts ‘come to life’ in a project.

She’s been active with various art related institutions and events, including art nonprofits and, in the past, a champion for her daughters in school and local theatre, fine arts, and music. Most recently, she’s a member of the Parker Public Arts Commission.

Christine looks forward to bringing her energy and passion for the arts, to which, she hopes will reflect the rich history and uniqueness of our town, as well as creating opportunities for impactful placemaking and community engagement with the arts.

Phil has been involved with arts and technology most of his life.  While attending college in Washington, DC, he interned at the Smithsonian Institution, the Kennedy Center Opera Society of Washington and on Capitol Hill.  After college, he worked in the telecommunications and computer industries in Northern Virginia and Colorado Springs.  After moving to Colorado in the 1990s, he joined the advisory board of KTSC-TV, the PBS station for Southern Colorado and eventually became its board chair.  Having collected art for many years and wishing for a change of direction, he and his wife opened an art gallery in Beaver Creek and enjoyed cultivating and working with artists.  He returned to technology, helping clients all over the country with their Salesforce.com installations.  He and his family moved to Parker about seven years ago and have really enjoyed the arts scene in Parker and greater Denver.  He and his wife look forward to post-pandemic traveling, gallery-hopping, theater and movies.  He is an avid board-gamer.

Dave Reiter studied graphic design at the Colorado Institute of Art and continued his studies with many professional artists throughout his career. Painting professionally since 2007, Dave predominantly bases his work in the landscape and abstract genres while further exploring how memory and relationships harmonize with the play of color and texture in his creations. Mainly doing commission work and large-scale paintings for individuals and corporate spaces, Dave has participated in prominent exhibitions throughout Colorado and nationally, won numerous awards, and created work for the City of Thornton, CO, UC Health, Grange Hall Food Court, and others. Represented by The District Gallery, you can see Dave’s work by going to davereiterart.com. Having lived in Parker since 2007, Dave is proud to be a part of the Parker Public Arts Commission and serve Parker by bringing artistic insight into the selection process for the Town Council, further enhancing Parker’s desirability as a destination to visit and a great place to call home.

Parker Art Cultural Commissioner / Parker Public Art Commission

Mark has always had a deep appreciation for art and has always made a point to visit art museums and art galleries wherever his travels have taken him. His mother was an artist and instilled a great appreciation for different types of art. In fact, family trips would often end up in places that were known for art. After she passed away, he rekindled his own interest in creating art when he was going through her art supplies and sketches from the 1970s and won Juror’s Choice for his piece Diverse Abstract at the Heritage Fine Art Exhibit This is Colorado in 2020. He is actively involved in local artist Tadashi Hayakawa’s monthly workshop at the PACE Center, had a solo exhibit at Parker’s Deep Space earlier this year, and is an active member of the Parker Artist Guild. He is also a managing member of PTK Resources LLC, which consults for ERP systems including deployment, integration, conversions and data analytics.
