PARKER ARTS PRESENTS
Goodnight Moon - The Astronomy of the Moon with Wings Over the Rockies
Part of Parker Arts’ Goodnight Moon: A Fiber Tale exhibition, reimagining the classic children’s story through textile art, storytelling, and cultural symbolism. On display March 12–29, 2026, at The Schoolhouse Theater.
Join us March 19 and March 20, 2026, at The Schoolhouse for a hand-on experience as we continue celebrating Goodnight Moon: A Fiber Tale with special science themed activities presented by Wings Over the Rockies. Choose from two interactive sessions offered each day at 10:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m.
Families and young learners will dive into the wonders of lunar science through two engaging activities:
- Moon Origin Stories: Explore cultural myths, create your own origin story, and learn about the science behind the Moon’s creation.
- Making Impact Craters: Get messy and have fun recreating real lunar craters through hands-on experiments.
Perfect for curious kids and their grownups, this experience offers a fun and educational way to learn, create, and explore the intersection of science, story, and art.
