PARKER ARTS PRESENTS
Goodnight Moon - Around the World Storytime and Stuffy Sleepover Event
Part of Parker Arts’ Goodnight Moon: A Fiber Tale exhibition, reimagining the classic children’s story through textile art, storytelling, and cultural symbolism. On display March 12–29, 2026, at The Schoolhouse Theater.
Join us March 17, 2026, at The Schoolhouse for a family-friendly morning of storytelling and imagination as we continue celebrating Goodnight Moon: A Fiber Tale, our month-long life-sized art installation that recreates the world of everyone’s favorite bedtime story.
STORYTIME
Families are invited to attend one of two available session times—either 10:00 a.m. or 12:00 p.m.—for a unique and engaging storytime experience. Each session will feature special multilingual readings of the beloved children’s bedtime classic Goodnight Moon, presented in both Spanish and Chinese. This immersive event offers young readers and their families the opportunity to enjoy the story in multiple languages, celebrating cultural diversity and the joy of shared storytelling.
STUFFY SLEEPOVER EVENT!
Bring your child’s favorite stuffed animal along for the fun! After a delightful story time, kids can tuck in their plush pals and wave goodnight—because that’s when the real fun begins! During their magical overnight sleepover, your plush pals will “explore” The Schoolhouse, sneak silly snacks, giggle through bedtime tales, and maybe even stir up a little mischief under the moonlight.
Come morning, on March 18, reunite with your child’s wide-eyed snuggle buddy and hear all about their whimsical, stuffy-sized escapade! During stuffy pickup between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., each child will receive a souvenir photo and a special, “I loved the sleepover at the Schoolhouse,” badge from their adventurous companion. A themed drawing station will also be available, where kids can imagine and illustrate their stuffies’ overnight adventures, “Did they fly to the moon? Or sneak into the theater for a midnight show?”A night full of fluff, fun, and furry frolics awaits!
