Goodnight Moon - A Fiber Art Tale
Join us for Goodnight Moon – A Fiber Tale, March 12 – 29 at The Schoolhouse Theater!
Goodnight Moon – A Fiber Tale is a captivating, life-sized fiber diorama based on the beloved children’s story that has been read by millions and cherished by families for generations.
A decade in the making and a year in meticulous production, local artists Emilie Odeile and Ken Chapin mark the 75th anniversary of this timeless classic by bringing it to life in a truly novel way. Drawing from the enchanting work of Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd, the artists weave millions of stitches and miles of yarn to transform the story’s familiar illustrations into a richly textured, three-dimensional experience.
This first-of-its-kind fiber masterpiece blends nostalgia, artistry and innovation, inviting audiences of all ages to step inside the world of Goodnight Moon like never before.
