PARKER ARTS PRESENTS

Art Exhibit: Reflections on Amache

This gallery features the works of artists Sarah Fukami and Courtney Ozaki.

Sarah Fukami exhibits a diverse, compelling visual journey that captures the historical and emotional significance of the Amache incarceration camp.

Courtney Ozaki presents a cross-discipline artistic mapping project and photo/mixed-media exhibition featuring stories of solidarity between Japanese/Japanese Americans in Denver and other communities of color.

“It is my intention that viewers spend time with these people and histories in order to learn from them and, hopefully, never let such atrocities occur again.”  –  Courtney Ozaki
