Level 4B Ballet & Pointe
Our Level 4B class dance class gives our dancers the opportunity to focus on their study of ballet. Students in this level have had previous dance experience and display and execute proper technique and placement while continuing to expand their repertoire. Students are technically advanced enough to enjoy focusing on the choreography as they already have an understanding of the technique. A typical class structure includes exercises done at the barre, in center and across the floor. A $40 costume fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is due to On Pointe the first week of class. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other Level 3&4 classes and Modern and Contemporary and/or Teen Hip Hop.
Level of Instruction: Advanced
Equipment Needed: Students are expected to wear black dance leotard and pink ballet tights with ballet slippers. Hair should be pulled away from the face.
Registration Requirements: Dancers should have at least two years of en pointe experience. Dancers must be taking a minimum of two additional ballet classes to dance en pointe.

Costume Drop Off: Friday, Dec. 6, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.
