On Pointe: Level 3A Ballet & Contemporary

Level 3A Ballet & Contemporary

Students in this level have had previous dance experience and display and execute proper technique and placement while continuing to expand their repertoire. Students are technically advanced enough to enjoy focusing on the breath and quality of movement as they already have an understanding of the technique. Dancers will receive one ballet costume and one jazz costume. Two costume fees ($83 each) are required to participate in the end of semester performance and is due to On Pointe the first week of class. Costume fees are made payable to On Pointe the first week of class. Dancers with more than two costume fees will receive additional costumes at a discount. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other Level 3 or 4 classes, Teen Modern, and Teen Hip Hop classes.

Level of Instruction: Advanced

Equipment Needed: Black dance leotard and pink ballet tights with ballet slippers and jazz pants or shorts with dance top and jazz shoes/“Foot Undeez.” Hair should be pulled away from the face.

Performances: May 10
No Class Dates: March 17-22 (Spring Break)
