On Pointe: Level 1 & 2 Tap

Level 1 & 2 Tap

This tap class is a weekly dance class designed to further a dancer’s technique in tap. The instructor will teach appropriate and more difficult tap skills to challenge the entire class. Dancers will move from center, to across the floor, and master complex rhythms and patterns. A $83 costume fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is due to On Pointe the first week of class.
Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other dance classes.

Level: Intermediate

Equipment Needed: Black tap shoes and proper dance attire are required.

Semester Dates: January 6 – May 3
Dress Rehearsals: May 8 & 9
Performances: May 10
No Class Dates: March 17-22 (Spring Break)
