On Pointe: Beginning Kids Hip Hop

Beginning Kids Hip Hop

Kids like to move, and we are here to help them. Not everyone wants to be a ballerina, and we get it. This class helps kids feel the floor underneath them as they pop, lock and breakdance to the beat of the music. A $83 costume fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is due to On Pointe the first week of class. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other dance classes.

Level of Instruction: Beginning

Equipment Needed: Clothing easily move in, and dedicated studio tennis shoes are encouraged.

Semester Dates: January 6 – May 3
Dress Rehearsals: May 8 & 9
Performances: May 10
No Class Dates: March 17-22 (Spring Break)
