Abstract Colorado Painting for Beginners

In this acrylic painting workshop, go through each stage of the painting from start to finish. Create your own memorable abstract portrayal of the Colorado landscape, meshing nature into your own distinctive vision. Come and gain valuable theory needed to abstract a painting from start to finish. Bring a sketchbook and pencil.

Classes will open for registration on a rolling basis.
Satellite classes held at PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Ave., Parker.

Class Supplies:

-1 stretched canvas (18 x 30 inches or less)
-Acrylic Paints ( bring an assortment of colors, preferably ones that you would like the piece to represent.)
– I prefer these colors for this particular piece, Green Gold, Parchment or Unbleached Titanium, -Black, Bright Aqua Green, Baltic Blue, Turner’s Yellow, Bronze Yellow, and Raw Sienna.
-Brushes are based on purely what you are comfortable with but I do recommend Synthetic Hair white Talkon.
-Brushes: A selection of half inch to fine point are more than suitable, remember to include a 2 to 3 inch brush for the initial start to the painting.
-1 paint wipe cloth, or paper towels
-cup or bowl for water
-An apron
-Bring a sketchbook and pencil.
