About the Show
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee centers on a fictional spelling bee set in a geographically ambiguous Putnam Valley Middle School, some students being from various elementary schools. Six quirky adolescents compete in the bee, run by three equally quirky grown-ups.

Sunday, July 6, 2025 | 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Auditions are at The Schoolhouse in Parker, 19650 E. Mainstreet
Callbacks
Sunday, July 6, 2025 | 6:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Prepare
Bring sheet music in the appropriate key and an accompanist will be provided. Prepare 32 bars in the style of the show or in the style of a character from the show. Note: This production is for 18+ actors.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals will start August 24 and will be Sunday/Monday/Thursday nights from 6:30-10:00 PM. Rehearsals will take place at a Parker Arts facility, and some occasional rehearsals will take place in a central Denver/Lakewood location.
Performances
All performances will be held at the The Schoolhouse, 19650 E. Mainstreet, Parker.
Tech Week: Monday, October 13-Thursday, October 23
Performance Dates: October 24-November 16
(Note: No performance on October 31. Two shows on November 2 – 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.)
All Other Performances: Thursdays (7:30 p.m.), Fridays (7:30 p.m.), Saturday (2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.), and Sunday (2:00 p.m.)
