Kids Lyrical

Kids Lyrical is a weekly dance class that blends technical skill with emotional expression, allowing dancers to tell stories through movement. In this class, dancers will explore the unique combination of jazz technique and lyrical dance, focusing on how to convey emotion and narrative through every step and gesture. Our instructors will guide dancers in developing both their technical abilities and their artistic voice, helping them connect deeply with the music and express themselves with confidence and grace.

A $40 costume rental fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is paid to The Dance Connection the first week of class. Rented costumes must be returned after the performance to avoid additional fees.

Level of Instruction: Intermediate

Equipment Needed: Dance attire is required, and lyrical shoes or Foot Undeez are encouraged.

Semester Dates: August 11– December 4
Dress Rehearsals: December 1 & 2
Performances: December 3 & 4
No Class Dates: Sept 1 (Labor Day), Oct 31 (Halloween), Nov 24-29 (Thanksgiving Break)
