Beginning Kids Hip Hop
In this fun and high-energy class, kids will learn the fundamentals of hip-hop and breaking while moving to the beat of the music. Through popping, locking, and basic breakdancing techniques, students will develop coordination, rhythm, and style. This class is all about having fun, building confidence, and letting kids express themselves through the dynamic movements of hip-hop. Whether they’re mastering the basics or learning new moves, young dancers will enjoy exploring the exciting world of street dance!
A $40 costume rental fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is paid to The Dance Connection the first week of class. Rented costumes must be returned after the performance to avoid additional fees.
Level of Instruction: Beginning
Equipment Needed: Clothing easily moved in, and dedicated studio tennis shoes are encouraged.

Performances: December 3 & 4
No Class Dates: Sept 1 (Labor Day), Oct 31 (Halloween), Nov 24-29 (Thanksgiving Break)
