Drawing on Air

Drawing on Air workshop is rooted in poetry and combined with visual arts projects to reveal the power of expression.  Participants will receive guided poetry and visual arts prompts to employ core principles of expression, connection and transformation through the use of metaphor while holding a safe and non-judgmental space for youth to freely express their creativity and share experiences. This curriculum helps facilitate the recognition that visual expression can become a vehicle for addressing past struggles while simultaneously developing positive perceptions.
