Broadway Showcase Series 

Broadway Showcase is designed as a progressive sequence in musical theater training that will advance students crafts and prepare them for future auditions and performances, including for Parker Arts and Inspire Creative youth summer production.
Students will move sequentially through the showcase series and will be placed by ability: beginning, intermediate and advanced. To enroll, students must sign up to the Broadway Showcase Series, Class No. 12366 at no fee. Enrolled students will be contacted by Inspire Creative to schedule an audition time on Jan. 31 at PACE Center. After initial enrollment, student placement in the leveled courses will be based on previous showcase enrollment or by audition/approval. Beginning Broadway Showcase

Ages: 9-18
Jump into the wonderful world of musical theater in this introductory class taught by the area’s leading professionals. Learn the basics of musical theater movement, singing and acting while learning songs, scenes and dances from popular musical theater shows. This class will end with a performance showcase. No classes will be held during Spring Break (March 21.)

Intermediate Broadway Showcase

Ages: 12-18
Further your musical theater craft in the next level of the Showcase sequence. Students will explore many different genres and styles of musical theater voice, scene-work, and dance. The first hour of the course, students will receive personalized training in the areas of dance, voice, and acting in our level one class. The second hour of the course, students will rehearse a musical theater Broadway showcase to be performed on the last day of class. Students must have completed the Beginning Showcase to enroll for Intermediate Showcase or audition by emailing  No classes will be held during Spring Break (March 21.)

Advanced Broadway Showcase

Ages: 14-18
Refine your musical theater talent in the next level of the Showcase sequence designed to advance musical theatre technique and training. The first hour of the course, students will receive personalized training in the areas of dance, voice, and acting in our level two classes. The second hour of the course, students will prepare advanced choreography, scene-work, and songs from Broadway’s favorites. On the last day of class, students will perform a final showcase. Students must have completed the Intermediate Showcase to enroll for Advanced Showcase or audition by emailing

Maximum Harmony - Take your skills to the max!

Ages: 11-18
Audition to be in this highly selective musical theater performance ensemble. In this advanced show-choir, participants will learn extensive harmonies, vocal arrangements and choreography to some of musical theater’s best show-stoppers. The semester will end with a highly-creative, challenging and collaborative performance medley. Scheduled auditions will be held Jan. 31, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at PACE Center. Broadway Kids - All levels welcome!

Ages: 6-11
Young triple threats in the making will learn the basics of musical theater voice and dance. Students will sing, dance, and play theater games while learning fun choreography and songs from their favorite musicals and Disney hits. (Open to all levels and no audition is required for this Inspire Creative introduction to theater!)

Adult Acting

Ages: 18+
This class is designed for adults who are interested in acting. Whether you want to work on your confidence in front of a crowd, or you want to brush up on your acting skills to audition for a show, or you are just looking for something fun to do, this is the class for you. Adult Acting will focus on public speaking skills, character building, and improvisation in a fun and non-judgmental environment.

Musical Theater Dance

Ages: 15+
Learn different styles of Broadway dance and choreography as well as improving your dance technique. Proper warm up, body placement and some good conditioning will get you where you need to be. Whether you are getting ready for your next audition, show or just want to have something fun to do, this class is for you. All levels welcome.

Broadway Jazz Dance Audition Workshop

Ages: 15+
Join the director and choreographer of Inspire Creative's fall musical A Chorus Line for a challenging and informative audition workshop. The first hour will be full of tips and advice on how to select and prepare material, as well as an opportunity to ask questions. The second half of the workshop will be a hands-on dance audition workshop where participants will learn several combinations and receive feedback on their audition skills.

Youth Summer Production

Summer Youth Production - High School Musical

Ages: 10-18
Audition for Parker Arts and Inspire Creative’s youth summer production of High School Musical. Students will experience the process of putting up a professional musical production while learning confidence and skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Participants must sign up for auditions scheduled to be held on May 5, from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with callbacks on May 6, from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Audition registration and packets, and rehearsal schedule are available at Students will meet 2-3 times a week over the summer to rehearse the show and then perform five shows August 10-18.

Summer Production Apprenticeship

Ages: 15-18
Assist Parker Arts and Inspire Creative in producing the student summer musical of High School Musical. Tech student apprentices will be required to do an interview and present a design portfolio of past work.  If selected as an apprentice, you will assist in designing and building the scenery and technical elements of the production.  Students will be able to focus on areas of interest such as scenery, lighting, sound, props, and costumes. Summer Production Stagehand

Ages: 10-18
Students will work as the run crew for the production of High School Musical.  Stagehands will join the Apprentices in building the scenery for the production and will help to run the backstage during the performances.  Stagehands must be able to be at every Tech rehearsal and every performance of the show.  Stagehands can also work in specific areas of interest such as deck crew, sound crew, lighting crew, props crew and costume crew.
