Special thanks to Front Range Contemporary Quilters
Quilters reuse fabrics, giving them new life and purpose. They consider tablecloths, work shirts, blankets, and curtains as wonderful resources. Today’s contemporary fiber artists repurpose an even wider array of materials: paper, denim, toys, burlap, found objects, plastic, bottle caps, etc. Their art not only helps lessen our carbon footprint, but too it honors past artists from whom they borrow.
