Family Discovery Series: Tunji and the Giant: An African Folktale by the Colorado Chamber Players
Join the Colorado Chamber Players as they perform the beloved African folk tale Tunji and the Giant, set to lively music and narration by David Mullikin, along with other short kid-friendly pieces. Kids can participate by playing small percussion instruments (rattles and rainsticks) with guidance from the CCP. At the end of the concert, kids can try small string instruments and recorder in an instrumental petting zoo. Children invited to participate on stage along-side the Chamber are required to wear a mask.
This affordable series is designed to introduce your little ones to the incredible world of arts and culture. These family-friendly events are low cost and 60 minutes or under, allowing kids to explore and engage with the arts. A lifetime of the arts starts one discovery at a time!
