Family Discovery Series: The Falcon, Music of Flight
The Falcon, Music of Flight is a short, humorous two-person play for ages 8+ by Josh Hartwell, combined with live music about birds performed by the Colorado Chamber Players, by Rameau, Haydn and Maria Newman. The play is directed by Betty Hart (DCPA, Aurora Fox, Local Theatre, Town Hall credits).
Darlene, a child with a vivid imagination, conjures up a friendship with her favorite winged comic book superhero, the Falcon. Darlene takes on several make-believe characters, and helps her superhero connect with a strong identity and sense of belonging.
What is the Family Discovery Series?
This series is designed to introduce your little ones to the incredible world of arts and culture through performing arts. These family-friendly events are low cost and under 60 minutes. Performances are select Saturdays, from 10:00am – 11:00am. Tickets are $10. Children ages 2 and under are free.
