Family Discovery Series: Sounds of the Season with the Parker Symphony Orchestra and Parker Chorale

This affordable series is designed to introduce your little ones to the incredible world of arts and culture. These family-friendly events are low cost and 60 minutes or under, allowing kids to explore and engage with the arts. A lifetime of the arts starts one discovery at a time!

Sing along to the seasonal songs you know and love, and introduce your kids to the symphony with this shortened, family-friendly version of our traditional holiday program presented by the Parker Symphony Orchestra and Parker Chorale.

About the Parker Chorale:

The Parker Chorale is an adult community choral group dedicated to fostering the arts and supporting music education in the Town of Parker and Douglas County. To learn more about the Parker Chorale, CLICK HERE.

About the Parker Symphony Orchestra:

The Parker Symphony Orchestra is Parker’s community orchestra, performing amazing classical music at the PACE Center. They were founded in 1994 as the South Suburban Community Orchestra, but with their first concert at the PACE Center in 2011, they officially became the Parker Symphony Orchestra.

Highlights from past seasons at PACE include collaborations with the Legend High School choir, holiday concerts with the Parker Chorale, children’s concerts with the Young Voices of Colorado, a Veteran’s Day concert featuring the Colorado Mormon Chorale and numerous professional guest soloists.

As a Parker Arts presenting partner, the PSO offers musical programs designed to encourage the people of Parker to explore classical music in new ways, including listening to new styles and unfamiliar composers. The PSO hopes to inspire people of all ages to pick up and play music themselves. They also give local musicians a venue to perform with other music lovers and give youth groups, such as Young Voices of Colorado, the opportunity to perform with a full orchestra.

In addition to performances, the Parker Symphony Orchestra has an active outreach program that is proud to help support local school music programs. There are also several groups within the organization that perform for senior communities throughout the year. To learn more about the Parker Symphony Orchestra, CLICK HERE.
