Art Gallery Reception: DUETS: Pairs & Collaborations
Join the Parker Artists Guild Wednesday evening, October 18 at 6:30 p.m., for a reception celebrating DUETS: Pairs & Collaborations, currently on display at The Schoolhouse.
For this show, PAG artists partnered with one another, creating pieces that work in tandem featuring a particular style, subject theme or medium.
Learn from the artists, themselves, how these partnerships formed, how they decided on their like-minded subject matter, and how each partner’s artistic expression is wonderfully unique.
A cash bar will be open for the reception and refreshments will be served.
All artwork featured in the exhibition is for sale.
ABOUT THE PAG:
Established in 2000, the Parker Artists Guild (PAG) is a group of like-minded adults interested in the visual arts (oil painting, acrylics, mixed media, watercolor, sculpture, photography, jewelry, woodworking, glass work, etc.). The Guild is located in Parker, Colorado which is in the southeast part of the Denver Metro Area. We started small with artists wanting to meet other artists. Over the years, the Guild has grown at times to over 200 members. In 2010 we became a 501(c)3 non-profit with our focus on promoting the visual arts for children and young adults through providing classes, art show space, and scholarships.
The Guild is known for Art in the Park held in late summer in O’Brien Park. We sponsor venues across the area where PAG artists can show and sell their work. We hold weekend classes at PACE for students with our Lessons and Lemonade classes.
PAG is made up of a wide variety of artists living in and around the Douglas County and Denver Metro areas. We participate in a variety of art shows during the year, and try to increase appreciation for arts of all styles and all talents.
If you are interested in learning more about the visual arts, and you want to join an active group of like-minded people, simply go to the Join option on our homepage menu bar. We meet every month (unless otherwise posted) on the third Wednesday. We will have an informative program and a business meeting along with a lot of fun.
Our Members meet at the Old Schoolhouse on Mainstreet in downtown Parker.
