This curated exhibit features the rich cultural traditions and artistic expressions of Día de los Muertos, a Latin American day of celebration that commemorates the lives of the dearly departed and welcomes the return of their spirits.

Join us for a vibrant and meaningful celebration at the Día de los Muertos Art Reception & Celebration!

In collaboration with Global Village Academy, this special event will take place at the PACE Center on November 5th, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. Please RSVP for your preferred time.

Explore a curated collection of artwork from talented artists, showcasing the beauty and symbolism of Día de los Muertos. Participate in interactive activities where you can create your own Día de los Muertos-inspired art to take home. Admire the intricate and heartfelt altar (ofrenda) crafted by students from Global Village Academy, paying tribute to their departed loved ones. Enjoy performances by Global Village Academy students, bringing the spirit of the celebration to life with shows at 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

This event is free and open to all ages. Come dressed in your favorite Día De Los Muertos attire and face paint to fully embrace the celebration.
