Space Explorers

Prepare for lift off! In this hands-on experience-based program we are going to the edges of the universe. From preparing your rocket to creating a space suit to growing some food for your journey, we are going to learn just what it takes to get an astronaut prepared to go into orbit and beyond!

Level: Beginner/Intermediate

Skills Learned:

Understand the parts of a rocket

Learn and apply engineering process to create a better rocket
Learn about space suits – practice with fine motor skills with sewing
Learn about biology on board the international space station to help grow food in space
