On Pointe: Level 3 & 4 Tap

Level 3 & 4 Tap

This weekly dance class is designed for dancers looking to continue their dance journey and develop their tap technique. The instructor will teach challenging tap skills, including complex rhythms and patterns, as dancers move from the center to across the floor. A $40 costume fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is due to On Pointe the first week of class. Students interested in expanding their abilities and talents are encouraged to simultaneously enroll in other Level 3 or 4 classes, Teen Modern, and Teen Hip Hop classes.

Equipment Needed: Black Oxford tap shoes

Semester Dates: Aug. 12 – Dec. 7
Dress Rehearsals: Dec. 2 & 3
Performances: Dec. 4 & 5
Costume Drop Off: Friday, Dec. 6, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

No Class Dates: Sep. 2 (Labor Day), Oct. 31 (Halloween), and Nov. 25-30 (Thanksgiving Break)
