Teen Hip Hop
Locking, popping, funk and break dancing are all part of the Hip Hop family. For the past 50 years, this dance genre has made its journey from urban roots to the mainstream crowd. Previous dance experience is not required and keep it clean doing hip hop with teens. A $83 costume fee is required to participate in the end of semester performance and is due to On Pointe the first week of class.
Level of Instruction: Intermediate to advanced
Equipment Needed: Clothing easily move in, and dedicated studio tennis shoes are encouraged.
Semester Dates: January 6 – May 3
Dress Rehearsals: May 8 & 9
Performances: May 10
No Class Dates: March 17-22 (Spring Break)
