Parker Arts Shakespeare Festival

Parker Arts Shakespeare Festival is a theatrical competition for Parker middle schools and high schools. Students from Parker schools will perform a scene or portion of a scene from a Shakespeare play or soliloquy of their choosing and be evaluated by expert judges. The six highest scoring performances will perform on the PACE Center Main Stage and will receive a Bard’s Prize trophy for the 2019 Parker Arts Shakespeare Festival!

Students selected to participate should CLICK HERE for more information. Follow the steps to register for the festival. As you go through the registration process you will also have the option to buy a Shakespeare Festival t-shirt and to purchase a subway lunch.

Teachers, friends, and family are welcome to attend the festival for free as spectators and to provide support! They can buy a Shakespeare Festival T-shirt for $16.00 by CLICKING HERE.

  Parker Arts mission in offering a Shakespeare festival is to: 

  • Increase appreciation and understanding of Shakespeare works;
  • Provide an opportunity for youth to perform;
  • Foster community creativity and engagement; and
  • Generate awareness of Parker Arts education and enrichment opportunities.
