In collaboration with Douglas County Schools, Parker Arts presents Student Portfolio Day.
Friday, Feb. 22, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the PACE Center
Parker Arts Student Portfolio Day is a professional development opportunity for high school students interested in continuing their educational and professional career in visual arts. At Portfolio Day, students will have their portfolios reviewed by university art professors, working artists, and peers and will receive personalized constructive critiques on their art work, portfolio presentation, and artist statement.
Students must also participate in three of five offered professional development workshops offered throughout the day. Their experience will culminate in a professionally curated art show at the PACE Center from Feb. 27 - March 13, 2019 with a reception on Thursday, March 7, from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Subway lunch will be provided for participating students. During registration, please note which Douglas County school you attend.
Registration deadline: December 10, 2019. Fee: $5. Register here.
Student Portfolio Day is only open to invited students. Please do not register to this program if you have not been asked to participate by your school's art teacher. Registration refunds incur a $5 fee.
