Dr. Christopher Kudron, a physiatrist, with Denver-Vail Orthopedics, specializes in the evaluation and non-surgical management of spine disorders. He utilizes a variety of interventions including epidural injections, joint injections, and radiofrequency ablation among others to care for spine problems. Dr. Kudron is also trained in sports medicine where he manages musculoskeletal problems and performs electrodiagnostic studies (EMG/NCS), peripheral joint injections, and emerging regenerative treatments including platelet rich plasma (PRP). He believes in a comprehensive evaluation in order to identify potential causes of spine and musculoskeletal disorders.
Dr. Kudron completed his undergraduate degree at Rice University in Houston, TX cum laude in Biological Sciences. He completed his medical training at the University of New Mexico and his residency at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) through the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He recently completed an additional fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Colorado, and he is now board certified in Pain Medicine.
Dr. Kudron is a Colorado native, growing up just a few miles from where he practices today. In his spare time, Dr. Kudron is an avid runner. He competes in long distance marathon and ultramarathon distances around the United States. He loves skiing in the winter and getting to the mountain trails in the summer.
