School Group Matinees

PACE Center offers educators the opportunity to integrate and enrich their curriculum with live performing arts productions making curriculum connections with science, physics, health, literature, language arts, history, social studies, social and family life-skills, cooperation and teamwork, self-expression and performing arts. Parker Arts strives to provide access for youth, schools and other cultural organizations to engage in performing arts education and enrichment.

Student matinees are provided several times throughout the school year. Often, matinee performances include post-show “talk-backs” with actors, directors, writers, or technical crew that allow students to ask questions and further enrich their theater-going experience. Most student matinees include a study guide to assist in lesson plans.

Student group tickets are only $7 and one complimentary chaperone ticket is available for every ten student tickets purchased (up to ten chaperone tickets per group).

Group reservations are available only through PACE Center Box Office. Complete a Group Reservation Form online here. Student Group orders will receive confirmation by way of email invoice from PACE Center Box Office that is due 30 days in advanced of the performance. For questions or seating availability, please call the Box Office at 303.805.6800. Homeschool groups of less than ten, must call the Box Office for individual seating only. Please do not submit a school group reservation form.
Please review the Student Matinee Guide before attending a performance at PACE Center.

Outreach & Residencies
Student and teacher workshops are occasionally available to support selected performances. National and local actors, writers, directors or technical staff bring knowledge and instruction inside classrooms supporting teachers in their efforts to enrich education with real-life experiences. Teachers, if you are interested in this level of engagement, we encourage you to ask what is available for your curriculum. Limited opportunities exist for students to work on-stage with professional actors and musicians.
